Squash the piece of fudge flat, smear with our Mary-Ann’s plain peanut butter and top with Mary-Ann’s puffed brown rice – pop into your mouth for a flavour explosion! You can also drizzle our melted carob slab on top for the deluxe version!
Dates contain an excellent source of iron needed to transport oxygen in the blood stream. they are loaded with fibre essential for digestive health, contain some complete protein and plenty of calcium , magnesium, potassium and other minerals and trace elements. They also include B Vitamins
The sugar in dates is from natural fructose, which recognized research indicates is stable on blood sugar – as a past hypoglycemic (low blood sugar) I can attest to this. I have eaten more than 10 pieces at a time (once or twice 🙂 ) and less very often and not ever had a reaction from my blood sugar. Our grand kids eat these daily as do the children at school and everyone of them have completely stable blood sugar.
Cashews are an excellent source of complete protein – 8%-10% , calcium, magnesium, potassium and natural sodium
